This was a nice and easy book, I heard the audio version. It truly was a wonderful YA book about growing up, trying to find your place in the world and the first real love. The story was told from alternating POV so that we get into both heads, Sarah's and Toby's. I loved that, specially since we saw different situations from different ankles. Both voices were true, honest, lovable and simply felt real. "When It Happens" tells the story how Toby and Sarah fall in love, how they are getting closer and how they shape each other. It was, as I said, an enjoyable read, but nothing exceptionell. Two Teens in the nightmare of High School, popular kids and falling for the wrong guy before seeing that the other one is the real deal. The story moves on slowly but has no real climax and no real conflicts, which is why I can only give it 3 stars.
